The Tale of Two Sisters {Hatter}

"They say your old pal Asesco hangs out by a village about a mile north of us." Erik answered.

"Asesco." She breathed, "She isn't hurt is she?" Pianoko asked, but without letting anyone answer she said, "Well let's get a move on! If she's hurt, we're only delaying her health."

"She's been wounded for many years." He muttered. Zia looked at him eyebrows raised.

"Why what happened, Erik?" Pianoko asked hurt by this grievous news. Who would hurt her?" She finished asking.

Erik chuckled. "I'm afraid this isn't a literal wound or else the goddess of healing would be find." he told her

Pianoko smiled lightly, "Well I know this but what did happen to her? Did someone say something to her? Does she have a broken heart what?" They were over half way to the village by now.

"She is broken hearted but I have no right to tell you why. Perhaps she will tell you." he answered.

Pianoko nodded at his remark, this was a good enough answer for her, they made it to the village. She stopped and searched her thoughts and feelings. Her senses old her to go a certain way. She followed her instincts and the reached a building and she knocked.

"Hello?" A voice asked as someone opend the door. "Are you in need of healing?" she saw Erik.

"Erik! Then these are." THe woman smiled.

Pianoko smiled. "Hello Asesco, I've missed you." She said, hugging her old friend. "IT's been too long, way too long."

"You're right. COme in all of you. Can't have people think I'm being rude to guests." Asesco said.

They all clambered in, "We were kind of in the nighboorhood, and I wanted to see you again. So what's been going on? Are you doing well?" Pianoko urged with kindness and eager to help her old friend.

Asesco smiled. "I'm fine, glad to see you're keeping your promise Zia." she joked.

THe hotheaded goddess shrugged.

Pianoko looked to Zia with a confused face. "What promise was this may I ask?"

"The one where you and I have to find a husband before returning home." Zia answered.

Pianoko giggled and rolled her eyes with a smile. "Asesco...you're in pain. Why? Is there anything I can do to help?"

Asesco turned scarlet and glared at Erik before shaking her head.

Pianoko looked sad, "So I can't help you...Please get better Asesco. I don't know what may have caused you to be in pain, but I hope that whatever it is, that you recover from it." Pianoko said, wishing she could help her friend. "Well, I guess we should continue on our way to find the guys that we will love, so that we may return home." Pianoko finished.

Asesco grabbed a light cloak. "I'm coming with you." she said

Pianoko smiled brightly, "I am honored that you would come with us on our journey. Thank you old friend." She then opened the door, as she and the others filed out. "I wonder...should there be any direction we should follow? Or just go where the wind takes us, in a manner of speaking?"

"I say" Zia said lighting her finger, "We follow the flame." Said flame pointed west, towards the inland.

Pianoko amused by her sister's flaming compass, nodded and they all took off. After Asesco packed her things and locked up her house. "I can not wait till sunset tonight!" She said as she danced whimsically down the road. "My sister Zia, please, would you bless us with a song? You and Erik both?" She pleaded, with bright eyes full of a cheery day at sea.

"I think we should do a contest, like we used to." Erik said.

"Sweet, go right ahead." Zia said smiling, Erik smilewd back and took a deep breath.

"Paper bags and plastic hearts

Zia smiled. "YOu're on the top of your game tonight, what do you two say?" she asked her companions.

Pianoko smiled and clapped, "That was wonderful Erik! Truly beautiful!" Asesco clapped and laughed, "It was quite remarkable, but can the God of music be bested?" She said winking at Zia.

"We'll see. Come on little one, show us your fire." Erik prompted.

"You want fire? I'll give you fire." She replied before taking a breath
