Furturistic Medieval Story

Rae placed a trembling hand on the tombstone. "My Athair." she said softly. "It is the Faerie word for father." she told him.

Jareth smiled and kissed her cheek. "I am glad I agreed to be your boyfriend. No one ever has treated me this kindly except my parents. maybe you'll meet my father one day."

"Oh..." Sterling's eyes softened and put a gentle hand on her. "I am deeply sorry, I wish I could've known the man, he must've been great, knowing you." He said with a small smile.

she swallowed her food " the red man next to your lovely mother at the coronation?" she asked eyes lit and sparkling

"He was. He died during a war when I was young. He sealed my powers away and showed me how use what was left for good." She turned to him. "I have something to tell you."

"You...You saw him?" He asked astonished. "No one has ever seen him!" Jareth exclaimed in surprise. "Well, maybe one day you'll actually be able to meet him face to face, in form as you have my mother when you came over to my hosue."

Sterling knelt next to her. "What is it Rae?"

she nodded " fearie remember" she laughed pointing to herself " i can see a lot of things humans dont " she leaned against him yawning " to the castle or to yours.." she dozed off not finishing the sentence still leaning against him

Rae bit her lip. She took a breath and said, "Williow laid a curse, more like a blessing, upon my child. Willow switched out the DNA of the father."

"Right...off to my house." Jareth said softly and scooped her into his arms, he thanked the remaining people and took off with his new fiancee.

"Wait really? Faerie's can do that? Wow...so...who's the father?" Sterling asked, not taking the time to realize that Willow would be able to use his DNA to insert it into the unborn babe.

she slept in his arms one of her servants following them to make sure the new queen needed whatever she needed in the morning

"You." She told him

"M-Me?" Sterling asked dumfounded. He couldn't believe this, he was going to be a father. THough he had never touched his Rae. BUt he nodded and came to the realization that now he would need to take extra special care of her. But better yet now he had a backup reason why he should pop the question. Other than his love for her, he now needed to marry Rae for the sake of the child. "You're not going to highschool anymore are you?" He asked. He knew if she did drop out, that he should do the same so he could get a job to get money to support Rae and his child.

Rae shook her head. "I need to start focusing on being a mother."

Sterling nodded. "That settles it then, I'll drop out too. I'll get a job so I can focus on being a father." He looked into her eyes, "I didn't expect us getting together like this, but hey at least we'll be together, right?" He said with a happy yet distant grin. As if something bothered him about this.

"You're bothered by this, aren't you?" She asked.

"No, no, it's just...I wanted to be the one to do it first. But I wanted to take you gently, I wanted you to have our kids in the natural way. Just you having my kid without me having done anything seems a bit wrong...But promise me this, if we decide to have a kid after this one, promise you won't get kidnapped and pregnant again?" Sterling said with a teasing grin.

"Never again." Rae promised before kissing him.

"Good because I want you all to myself." Sterling whispered holding her tightly.

Rae squeezed him and laid her head against his chest.

Sterling scooped her up. "Would you like me to take you to your house or mine?" He winked. "You need your rest, you've been through hell."

"Yours." Rae feel asleep before she could say anymore.

With a final smile, he kept her in his warm arms and took her to his home.

The next morning Rae had o stop herself from flinching when she felt arms wrapped around her. She knew it was Sterling but the past nights still haunted her.

Lily got up and readied herself for school, she ate breakfast then hurried off to school. Ceric watched her with much fascination and amusement. "She's an interesting lass isn't she?" Mongolia said. "Yes." Ceric agreed. "Just yes?" Mongolia grinned. "What else would you prefer me to say?" Ceric asked innocently. Mongolia laughed. "I know you've got your eyes on her. No one can miss it." She said. Ceric grinned a little and chuckled. "So what if I do? She's fourteen, nearly fifteen and I'm nineteen. Why would she like me in that way? Besides I'm a...Vampire. I'm a monster, stripped of his wings and made a servant, and I will be hers to control as well when she takes over. She's better off with some human boy who will come to love her unnconditionally, no matter what." Ceric said speaking his own words. "Ceric..." Mongolia began with softened eyes, "I don't believe that. You're...you're not a monster. I know that because I raised you to be a good and kind gentlemen. Also love is love, if she loves you as much as you love her, it doesn't matter the age difference. And there is hardly a big amount between you two. 4-5 years, that's not a great mass. Besides..." She paused hesitantly, "You're not a slave or servant." She said. "What?" He asked. Mongolia smiled, "As much as you love her, I realise that you would never wish to harm her, the citizens, your friends, nor would you leave here. I know you think of this place as home...So that's why..." She pulled out a key, "I'm setting you free." Ceric lost his breath for a moment. His throat clogged up in surprise. "No need to thank me, you've done it yourrself from your good behavior and service. I love you as a son, and one's children shouldn't be chained up." Mongolia said. She undid the shackles that have always been to hard for him to break or even bend. Ceric hugged her, small tears streamed down his face as he was overcome with a sense of freedom.

Lily was sitting in third period Pre-Algebra, when a student came in with dirty yellow blonde hair. With stunning green eyes. His skin pale as the moonlight. He looked painted though like he had on a lot of lotion. "Good morning sir, what I can I do for you?" Mr. Jastnor asked. "I'm new here, the name's Blaine Alablaster." His mouth barely moved but his voice as soft and smooth as velvet but cool, almost chilling. But entrancing as well. Lily couldn't help but stare at him. She had never met any one guy quite as beautiful to her, save perhaps Ceric. He look across the classroom and caught her eye and winked, and took a seat by her. She blushed and looked away and acted as if she was engrossed in her work. But she kept stealing glances, but blushed when she realized he wouldn't stop looking at her. Earning herself some very deadly glares from some of the other females of her class. When class ended without a word she rushed out of class. Blaine laughed. Lily couldn't help feeling that she would need to look out for herself. For she realized there was something peculiar about Blaine, and that he is someone she should watch out for.

After school, she walked slowly behind the others brooding on her thoughts. Soon she realized she had lost them and was in a part of town she hadn't been around. This scared her because this was the bad side of town. Rae had told her before to never come down here. Lily looked around frightened. She started walking around and ended up in an alley. When she came to a dead end, she heard a voice behind her that said, "You lost little girl?" The voice sounded icy and sinister. Lily spun around. A tall big man grinned down at her. He held a knife in one hand and a rope in another. "You look like you need an escort home. Maybe I should take you to my home." He grinned as he walked closer, and arm's reach away. "L-Leave me alone! I-I have pepper spray!" Lily stuttered with out confidence. She snapped out the can ready to spray. She couldn't think straight her mind and heart were racing. Her blood pulsed through her veins with fear. Her stomach was bouncing off the walls. He laughed and knocked the can out of her grip effortlessly. She took a step back and he stepped forward. This process repeated until she hit brick wall. She was trapped. She began to tremble, but she tried to restrain herself, but it was in vain.

"Come on, I just want to touch ya." He cruelly said as he touched her tender neck with the sharp part of his knife. The cold steel substance against her skin made her jump. Causing the blade to scratch her. It began to bleed. "Don't worry, when I take ya, it won't hurt...much..." He smirked with wicked eyes. Ceric...Rae... She thought in earnest. Honestly she didn't care who came as long as it was someone she knew. The man put his knife away as he tied her hands. SHe tried to shake him off but she was too weak. "This'll be easier than I thought." He grinned. "Such a tender child. Seems a waste to just take your innocence away like this. You would be much fun to play around with." With his other hand he slipped his hand up her shirt, she shrieked in panic. but he quickly took his hand out from inside her shirt and slapped her. So hard in fact that it left a hand print that burned red. Her eyed bubbled and tears poured out. He restarted his molestation and groped the area that made her yelp in pain. He quickly used the free hand that wasn't being used to hold down her wrists to get his knife and cut my shoulder. She screamed in pain again. "Shut up or I'll cut you up!" He snarled. Fear now knotted in her stomach. As blood now gushed from her shoulder. Suddenly, hands reached out from behind the guy's head and snapped the oppressors head. The man fell dead to the ground.

Her savior was Blaine! He scooped her up, and his red raven wings flew her away, she was barely concious from the lack of blood when they landed at a big manor. He bandaged her shooulder. "V-Vampire?" She breathed in her soft voice. Blaine nodded. "I smelled the blood." He said. "What's your name?" Blaine asked. "Montee, Delilah Montee." That was the last words she said before she passed out. It was late at night and everyone including WIllow and Jareth were all at the inn about to leave on another search party for Lily, when Blaine arrived with Lily. "LILY!" Everyone yelled when they saw Blaine holding her. He ad hidden his wings. "Ssh! She's asleep. Lost alot of blood. I saved her from a man who was trying to have his way with her." said Blaine. Ceric watched Blaine in silent loathing. He couldn't place it, but he knew Blaine from somewhere. "Thank you, so much!" Mongolia said, her eyes red from worried tears. "No problem." Blaine said and left. With a quick fleeting glance at Ceric with a smug smile. Then Blaine left.

Rae watched Blaine leave. She had an ominous feeling ever since he walked in with Lily in his arms. He looked like a human but his scent was all wrong. It was closer to Ceric’s then to hers or Jareth’s so she assumed he was a vampire. She walked over to Ceric and whispered so low only he could hear. “I don’t trust him. He’s not human.” She then walked back to Lily. “Owen, get a warm, wet washcloth. We need to clean the blood off of her.” She turned to Willow. “Willow, do you know of any healing spells?”

she nodded slowly and stood up and moved toward lily placing her hands over her wounds her finger sporting a new thin black band with 4 red jewels on it and she whispered a few ancient words lilly's wounds closing up and healing
