Vampirates (Ches)

"Don't worry they will Natalia..." Katt assured her friend then looked away and said in a whisper, "I hope."

Name: Kalina (Kuh-lee-nuh) Nighton (Normally goes by Kal by those who know better and Kali by her friends)
Age: 17
Hair: Below the ear length brownish-black hair
Eyes: Cold and intimidating dark grey
Bio: Kal was a convict for murder. Then she was raped and shot once in the head, heart and stomach, by a guard. This makes her hate authority when she was sired by the vampirates. It was Aiden who sired her, and though he treats her like a daughter and sometimes as a victim of flirting, she is always hitting and abusing him. She doesn't want to be close to anyone, and she can't stand the thought of taking blood though she needs it. So she uses pure will power to keep her self away, sometimes hurting herself when she feels as though she needs blood. SHe comes across cold, but will do anything to protect her crewmates.

Kalina stood at the rail of the ship in a shadowy corner observing the sea in silence like always.

"Yo Kali! The sun's rising, we better get moving!" Topaz yelled.

Natalia heard something off the port bow and looked over the edge. She stood up, pulling Captian Mikko over the rail, with Ashton not far behind.

"Well I hope you guys are ready for a raid because there's a rather precious cargo ship headed our way." Mikko told them

Kali turned to Topaz and nodded. She gave one last look out into the enlightening horizon and then took off to her cabin for a good long sleep.

Katt smiled, as she soon helped Ashton over with Natalia. "This is going to be fun." Katt said with a wink to her friends.

"That it will be." Ashton said. "The ship is said to be carrying sapphires, rubies, emeralds and diamonds, along with gold and silver." Mikko laughed and kissed him on the cheek.

"You always have an eye on the prize." Natalia said as the crew emerged from the lower decks.

"I hope you are all prepared for quite a fight. Supposedly there's a number of skilled swordsmen on this ship. But if we succeed, there's enough booty for everyone to have earned two treasures this time around." Mikko told them all, the crew cheered with excitment before going about their duties and preparing for the upcoming battle.

"Katt, you will be sparring with me today. Don't worry, I won't use my pistol." Mikko teased.

Katt laughed, "It will be my honor to spar with you mon capitan!" She said with a smirk and drew her sword.

Mikko drew her katana and they dueled for several hours before stopping. The next day Mikko watched as the soon to be victimized ship neared. "Are you ready mates? If we succeed with this raid we will have earned our place in the history books as the greatest pirates of our time!" Her crewmates cheered and prepared for battle.

Katt was spiked with adrenaline. She could not wait to make the history books. They would be reading about her at Pirate Academy.

Finally Mikko gave the signal and they attacked. The ship was boarded and everyone went to work.

Katt fought relentlessly but was fair in her battle strategy. She viewed her opponet as a worthy one.

Ashton and Natalia fought valiantly against their opponents.

Katt's opponent was soon joined by another and soon she was fighting two. NOw Katt had to kick it up a notch but bad luck struck her, because both were exquisite swordsman and they ended up trapping her and cut her up badly, the backed her up so far, she fell down the stairs to a lower level of the ship, breaking her ankle. Katt grunted but didn't let her pain show, a pool of blood streamed from her body.

A single shot resounded through the air. Everyone froze and turned towards the noise. Standing on the other deck was the captians. For a moment all was still then the other captian fell to his knees. Mikko stared coldly at her opponent, holding her bleeding side.

All eyes were upon their respective captains. Usually killing was held back but the tables had now turned. Katt looked up at the door, she heard the shot and the silence. Her eyes grew wide. "Captain?" She whispered worried for her leader.

Mikko turned to Katt and nodded before facong her opponents. "I apologize for the death of your captian but in all battles your life is tossed in the air." She turned to her crew. "All able bodied women take the treasure and help the wounded to the ship."

Natalia searched the ship and couldn't find Katt and began to worry. She then saw an open doorway that lead down to the lower levels and saw Katt in a pool of blood and hardly concious. Katt's ankle was twisted in a funny angle and hurried down the stairs and picked her up and carried her away. "I found Katt!" Natalia shouted and jumped to their ship.

Ashton helped Mikko to their shio while grabbing some treasure. He ordered the ship to be taking to the nearest port and took Mikko to her room. He laid her down and started wrapping her wounds

At the same time, Natalia was bandaging Katt up. "Damn it." She whispered, "Captain's going to murder me." Natalia laughed, "Maybe so, but she might let you heal up first so you can be more lively before you die." She teaased.

"Captain won't be murdering anyone any time soon." Ashton said walking in

Both female pirates looked up, "What's wrong?" They asked in unison.

"The wound in her side was deep and she lost alot of blood. I was able to stitch it up but if she does any strenous movement it'll tear itself open." he told them

"Then that makes you captain, for the time being, doesn't it?" Natalia asked. Katt looked at Ashton and then at Natalia. She could she how concerned they were. Hell, she was concerned herself. She was worried about Mikko.

"I guess it does." he replied solemnly

"Aye, aye Captain Ashton." Katt said with weak humor. She was worried about her captain. She had always seemed so strong and powerfful.

Ashton stared at her for a moment before leaving the room

Katt turned to Natalia. "So, how much more time do you have with us?"
